Epic Wildlife, The 50 Strangest Animals Series, Episode 33, The Chinese Vampire Monkey, 6'05"

This short documentary film entitled "The Chinese Vampire Monkey" was produced by Epic wildlife Company and posted in youtube video on May 30, 2014. It featured this alleged blood-sucking mythic creature and closely investigated its background. It also featured numbers of rogue taxidermy artworks by Takeshi Yamada and his portrait photos. Immortalized, AMC, Season One, 8 episodes, 30min each.
Takeshi Yamada was an “Immortalizer” on IMMORTALIZED, the AMC cable television’s new original unscripted television series about competitive taxidermy. Season 1 was aired for the first time during February and May in 2013. Yamada was featured in episodes 3 and 8 (season finale), and won both competitions. Also, Yamada won the Grand Champion Immortalizer for his highest scores. Yamada was also featured in several versions of the promotional television commercials of the IMMORTALIZED, during November 2012 and May 2013. Yamada's 15 rogue taxidermy monsters (dragons and space alien skulls) were also displayed among other artists' taxidermy artworks at the Pop Up Gallery in Manhattan, New York for promoting the television series in February 2013.  (Click for the bigger picture and descriptions below.)

The extensive documentary of the creative life and rogue taxidermy artworks of Takeshi Yamada and his Museum of World Wonders in Coney Island, Brooklyn, NY was the part of this special DVD Exhibition Video, created by the American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan, New York. The video was seen on multiple screens at the museums for the international traveling exhibition in Canada, Australia, and the United States.
