Yamada was a member of the International Carnivorous Plants Society in Walnut Creek, California. Yamada also produced annual "Carnivorous Plants" fine art exhibition and educational events at the Yamada Art Center in the West Side Gallery District in Chicago, Illinois when he lived there.
Exotic Plants
Flowers are sexual organs of seed-bearing plants. A series of imaginary "Exotic Plants" were created by Yamada for the nation-wide traveling X-rated adult fine art exhibition entitled "Sextablos". These 10x8 inch acrylic paintings were rendered on the zinc plates.
