YAMADA MODIFIED HIS SHIRT TO FIT HIS BODY SHAPE, AFTER LOSING 40LB (2022.03.17)
In the middle of March 2020, American government suddenly shut down the nation and ordered people to stay home as quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This made overwhelming percentage of people in the United States fat, overweight, and even obese. In just 1 year, Yamada also gained 10lb and peaked his body weight 169lb in April of 2021. This caused heavy sweating during the sleep for him. He found his healthy normal body weight to be 141lb and lower. So, finally, Yamada investigated the latest, most scientific, functional, practical, and no fee diet program. It was the Ketogenic diet. He started Ketogenic diet, intermittent fasting, and also continued his weekly fasting. By the end of 2021, he lost over 40 lb and stabilized his bodyweight around 125lb (the lowest was 122 lb). Needless to say, his dramatic loss of bodyweight caused his clothing became too big. So, finally, Yamada decided to modify and fit his most frequently worn and favorite casual outfit. It was a classic Harley Davidson Black Long Sleeve Logo Embroidered Patch Button Down Shirt.
Here is the list of what he upgraded to it.
(1) The diameter of the root of each arm at the armpit was shrunk by 2 inch by sewing.
(2) The chest at the armpit was shrunk by 4 inch by sewing. (2 inch at each side)
(3) The diameterof the navel height was shrunk by 4 inch by sewing. (2 inch at each side)
(4) The diameter of the area between the (2) and (3) as stated above were sewn down gradually.
(X) The top button at the neck was also repositioned. (This was because I have a skinnier neck now.)
SHIRT MODIFICATION PART 2 (2022.0423)
Yamada sew up 2 inches in both side of his long sleave button down shirt and made the connected diameter of each sleeve skinnier and higher. With this, its stimmed silhouette became enhanced more.

YAMADA CREATED THE CONCEPT "FASHION SCIENCE" (2020.03.09)
There are no word "Fashion Science" in the google search as of today. So, I can safely say I, Takeshi Yamada created it. LOL If you still dare shamelessly "believe" that failed fake science and voodoo science of "Political Science" even now, then you must call the successful big fashion brands' functional operations "Fashion Science", intellectually and logically, and morally speaking, in my humble opinion. Remember what every single American mainstream news media did and failed at the 2016 US Presidential Election race: they all said on every news media outlets that Hillary will win with 98% probability and they all failed miserably and completely. The world witnessed Donald J. Trump won the 2016 US Presidential Election race and became the new US President in reality.
Regarding the relationship of the fashion and science, here is what Google Q&A stated: Fashion is a unique blend of business, science, art and technology. ... It introduces ideas such as optimisation, understanding statistics and problem solving and forms a language that allows designers to talk to scientists, engineers and business people.Aug 24, 2016

DECORATED TOP HAT'S CENTER INDICATOR (2020.0223)
BACKGROUND & PROBLEM: Over the years, Yamada added a variety of beautiful symmetric metallic decorations in the front of his formal plain black top hat. Now, wearing this highly decorated top hat in the perfectly centered position became vital. That is because it looks so unsightly even if it is 1/8 inch off from the center.
SOLUTION: Yamada invented the easy to use blind touch style mechanism and methods for him to wear his decorated top hat always 100% perfectly centered position.
PS. This invention was needed because carrying a bulky & heavy small mirror in the pocket is not always practical.

CEREMONIAL SQUARE-TOE SHOES: (2020.0218 - 0225)
Many man's fashion experts hate the square-toe shoes. Nevertheless, Yamada thought the square-toe shoes are great because they have bigger surface area (just as bigger size canvases) to create bigger artworks on them. The photos below show how Yamada created his festive and gorgeous ceremonial square-toe shoes with the golden metal plates.

THINNING THE CLEAR GLOSS NAIL POLISH (2020.0222 - 0224 - 0313)
BACKGROUND & PROBLEM: Yamada needed to thin the clear gloss nail polish for applying the gold-coated lion head pins for protecting its detailed raised surface.
TRIAL #1: He did not have the nail polish thinner. So, he mixed the nail polish remover instead. Unfortunately, the mixed fluid became whitish cloudy. The surface also became mat instead of gloss, sadly. It was not good.
TRIAL #2: Yamada could NOT find any websites for removing this whitish substance from the mixed bottle of the nail polisher. Nevertheless, he realized the mixed fluid separates over time. In 24 hours, it separates into 2 parts. In 48 hours, it separates into 3 parts. The only cleared top flui is usable, if you want to maintain the gloss surface.
CONCLUSION: Do not use this fully loaded nail polish remover.

CONCLUSION: Do not use this fully loaded nail polish remover.
Mixing the clear gloss nail polish and the nail polish remover produces the whitish clouded fluid. Nevertheless, the portion will separate into 3 different layers after 48 hours. The top is the oil-based clear gloss nail polish. Then, the thin whitish cloudy membrane. The bottom is the heavier clear fluid. Takeshi Yamada. 2020.0304. Fashion Science
The ingredients of the nail polish removers are so different, even it is from the same company, same price, and the same volume. This loaded one is only good for producing the mat finish effect. If you want to keep the clear gross surface, use the one with "100% acetone" instead. Takeshi Yamada. Fashion Science
CORRECT WAY TO THIN THE CLEAR GLOSS NAIL POLISH (2020.03.13)
Just add 100% Acetone. It is sold under the name "nail polish remover with 100% acetone" or "nail polish thinner" or "acetone" (hardware store). It will not make the mixed formula whitish cloudy. The dried surface also will not become mat. As always, do not add too much if you want to protect the surface of your gold-coated jewelries.

If you want to thin the clear gloss nail polish, just add this 100% acetone nail polish remover. It does not make the fluid whitish at all. This and the previously posted one (with loaded ingredients) are from the same company Swan with the same volume, 6 fl oz (177 ml) with the same price ($1) at the local dollar store. PROTECTIVE COATINGS FOR THE GOLDEN METALLIC DECORATIONS: (2020.0218 - ON GOING)
BACKGROUND: Yamada added many gold alloy metal pieces and gold-coated metal pieces on his ceremonial jackets. unfortunately, the most of their surfaces became darker and lost the appearance of the gold over several years, sadly. Yamada applied the acrylic golden color paint on them but the effect was not so good.
SOLUTION: Yamada applied the coatings of the clear gross nail polish mixed with a small amount of the nail polish remover (for making it more watery to make it easy to apply it evenly) on the surfaces of his new gold alloy metals and gold-coated metals.

BLACK DRESS SHIRT COLLAR MODIFICATIONS: (2020.0213)
BACKGROUND: Yamada wears the black long sleeve dress shirt at home as his standard uniform.
PROBLEM: (1) The collar around the neck is became too tight to button down recently. (2) The collars just spread and lie down like the dandelion leaves on the ground -- It does NOT look good to him with this much open space in the front.
SOLUTION #1: Yamada relocated the top button to the edge of the shirt. Adding 15mm was not enough.
SOLUTION #2: Yamada tried the commercially available plastic white "shirt collar extender". It did not look good.
SOLUTION #3: Yamada pinned down the collar's tips to the fabric below. This modifications made the collars stand up. Nevertheless, the silver color pins did not look good.
SOLUTION #4: Yamada sewed down the collar's tips. This kept the collar standing. Nevertheless, the "loop holes" look incomplete.
SOLUTION #5: Yamada folded the collar inside. This kept the collar standing AND also made the front opening much closer. This modification made the appearance of the front of the collar much better.
NOTE: Yamada tried the #5 to two of his black long sleeve dress shirts. This method worked excellently for the one with the thick and sold collar as shown here. Nevertheless, another one with the softer and lower collar produce a lightly wider opening in the front.

COLLAR PROTECTOR (PERMANENT/REUSABLE) (2020.01.12-13)
BACKGROUND: Yamada wears the dress white shirts (white or black ) everyday, even at home.
PROBLEM: The ring around the collar developed when the same shirt was worn at home even in the cold winter months with minimum physical activities within a week.
OFF-THE-SHELF SOLUTIONS: The disposable self-stick sweat-absorbing padded tapes are available to be attached to the collar are commercially available. (The special collar sprays and the detouchable formal collars are also available as the minority products.)
YAMADA'S SOLUTION: Yamada designed the collar protectors to be mounted on the collar (not by the double sided tape with the fabric-damaging oil-based glue) for the long period of time or even permanently. Yamada's solution is completely washable even without the need of removing it at all. Yamada's collar protector can be sewn down by the common threads or by the specially designed tuxedo shirt's studs.
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS: In addition, you can also tape down the sweat-absorbing off-the-shelf disposable product in the hot summer months, if you like.

FUR LAPEL COLLAR MODIFICATION WITH YAMADA'S ORIGINAL "CENTERING ANCHOR" (2020.01.10-12)
1. The fur lapel was repaired (sewing),
2. Yamada designed and created what he calls the "Centering Anchor" and the "Safety Leash"
3. Yamada installed and adjusted the "Anchor" and the "Leash".
4. The scarf with the right color and volume was chosen from his half dozen of scarfs.
5. The front of the fur lapel and the front of the coat were adjusted for both the "normal position" and the "wider position".
6. The extra wide brim Fedora hat was selected from a dozen of his black formal hats.
7. The minor shape adjustments was done for his extra wide brim Fedora hat.
8. The red silk pocket square was removed from the chest pocket for the better symmetrical total design.
9. Both ends of this fur lapel collar at the bottom were sewn together firmly. This means each end will not hooked to the middle of another middle section for the extra cold weather. This also secure the function of the "gravity anchor".
10. Yamada decided not add the fur cuffs for his formal black long winter coat. This is because they are worn almost always by the females here in America.
11. The fur lapel collar was washed by (1) warm water, (2) bathroom hand soap (3) passion fruits shampoo. Then it was soaked over night and washed with the strawberry shampoo. It was dried with the fan for many hours (over 6 hours) to make sure it is dried completely.
12. Yamada re-attached his original "Anchor". He did not add the "Leash" because the bottom ends of this fur was now firmly fixed.

MARRIAGE OF THE DRESS SHIRTS (2020.0105)
Yamada thought his newly modified tuxedo shirt's collar does not look good as is without the black bow tie or the black jacket. So, he decided to make it bigger. This can be done by simply sewing a bigger shirt's collar to the tuxedo shirt's collar. Nevertheless, Yamada chose a different solution. Yamada wore a bigger dress shirt on the top of his modified tuxedo shirt. Yamada called it "Marriage Of The Dress Shirts". The photos below show how his newly modified tuxedo shirt look with and without the shawl lapel tuxedo jacket (the most formal style of the three styles of the tuxedo jackets). Needless to say, this "Marriage Of The Shirts" works best in the cold months because it would be too hot for the hot months.

TUXEDO SHIRT MODIFICATIONS (2002 - 2020.0105)
BACKGROUND: For attending the Mayor's Ball and other carnival crew's balls in New Orleans, Yamada purchased his first tuxedo suits and tuxedo shirt shortly after he moved to America from Japan in 1983. Yamada loved his new tuxedo shirt but he realized a big problem: it was small rather than fit (due to the ignorance of the men's formal wear shop's sales clear). It became too small to wear for him in just a few years, sadly. Yamada bought a new tuxedo shirt but kept this first one for his time capsule.

TUXEDO SHIRT MODIFICATION #2 (2020.01.04-05)
Yamada decided to modify it again. the most common way for increasing the chest and abdomen size is cutting off the narrow triangle in the back and replacing it with the wider triangle. Nevertheless, Yamada did not want to go though such a time-consuming big operation. So, in this time, he used the unique feature of the tuxedo shirt's mechanism; there are button holes for each side of the front. So, he used a thick white strong for loosely sewing the front.

YAMADA'S RITUAL DINING HATS (2015 - 2019.12.15-18 - Present)
BACKGROUND (1): People in Japan love rituals and ceremonies in the very orderly fashion. For an example, before each meal, people put their hands together and say "Itadakimasu" (lit. "I will humbly receive it". In English, it is "Let's eat".). Also, after each meal, they say "Gochisou Sama Deshita" (lit: "It was a feast". In English, it is "Thank you for the meal"). This is NOT from the mainstream religions of Japan such as Shinto, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, and etc. (The combined population of Christians, Jews, Muslems are less than 1% in Japan.) Yamada, just as any children in Japan grew up by being told "Do not leave any foods, even a grain of rice on your dish. Otherwise the God will destroy your eyes!" by his parents, who experienced serious sturvation during & after the World War 2 in Japan. So, they developed a unique and destinctive Japanese dining rituals, spirituality and culture in Japan.
BACKGROUND (2): One of Yamada's brother, Ryouichi is a professional chef in Osaka, Japan.
BACKGROUND (3): Yamada worked as an Assistant Manager for the upscale Japanese restaurant Rio-You by the Rockefeller Center in manhattan, New York for two years.
BACKGROUND (4): Yamada openly and repeatedly stated "Cooking is the highest art form of the humanity. Foods nourish our body. Nevertheless, it is the great foods, that nourish our soul. The paintings, sculpture, music, and literature can NOT even physically do so."
BACKGROUND (5): Yamada was deeply inspired and moved by the special traditional ritual of how French people eat their delicacy food -- ortolan (ortolan bunting). He wanted to make a simpler yet more festive version of what those people use on their very special dining.
BACKGROUND (6): Yamada hated dining with others on his dining table always. This was especially true when he was forced to sit and eat with others at home and school. It just reminded him of being treated as a live stock animals. Yamada always love eating alone, except few special occasion in his life. "Animals eat. Humans dine. There can be no dining at all, when you are forced to eat", Yamada states.
BACKGROUND (7): Yamada moved out from New York City and moved in New Jersey when his house was seriously damaged by the Hurricane Sandy and his area became the street gangsters' War Zone in 2012. Nevertheless, he finally moved back in 2015. Yamada started modifying his ceremonial formal Jackets for cerebrate his weekly festive dining. Yamada had an idea of creating the ritual dining hats then in 2015. Nevertheless, they did not seem fitting well to the rest of his ceremonial formal outfits. And this has been the reason why this invention of his were never physically realized.

Yamada thought it may take more years for him to make the final and functional version of Yamada's Ritual Dining Hats". So, he decided to produce drawings on papers in December 2019, for document what he thought about this subject matter for his record and the future reference.

CEREMONIAL LONG LAPEL JACKET WITH "KESA" (2019.1208)
Currently, Yamada has 4 ceremonial formal jackets, that he has been upgrading constantly. Yamada calls them "Epaulette", "Gold Cape", "Labor Day", and "Long Lapels".
PREVIOUS UPGRADES: The one shown below is the black formal jacket with the extra long lapels, which he started upgrading since the spring of 2016. The extra long lapels were sawed down for the stability. Two jewelries (modified earrings) were placed for the lapels. Two gold round metallic military buttons were sewn in the front as decoration. (The front can no longer be closed, so that the vest can be seen fully.) The smaller gold round metallic military buttons were sewn for the sleeves (the sleeve length was adjusted). The unisex gold dragon shield lapel stick pin was placed on the right lapel. The vivid red pocket square was placed in the left pocket pocket. A small gold jewelry was also placed on the left pocket. This "Long Lapels" jacket looks more casual and light weight. So, Yamada wore it very casually when he went out in warm/hot months. For his experiment, he even wore this jacket when he dine out at a few places including the Hibachi Grill restaurant (see the photo below).
NEW UPGRADE:
(1) The long and slow angle of each lapel is perfect for wearing Yamada's unique Kesa. The Kesa was pinned down with 2 gold round metallic military buttons. (It was used for the "Epaulette" jacket on 12/5, 2019 first.)
(NOTE 1: Kesa is a unique Japanese neck accessories for the Buddhist monks and some of their faithful followers. It is like the Christian "stole" but much shorter.)
NOTE 2: The stole is a liturgical vestment of various Christian denominations.
(2) Three Armbands were placed for the upper arms. (These were used for the "Epaulette" jacket on 12/5, 2019 first). Pic: Yamada at the Hibachi Grill restaurant. 2018.0904

ERGONOMIC SHOES WITH ROUND BOTTOM (2019.0205 - 0211)
Yamada proposes the more ergonomic shoes, that have a round bottom instead of the flat bottom. Such ergonomic design must be fully implemented by the running shoes A WELL AS the formal and ceremonial shoes. Needless to say, the shoes worn for specialized occasions such as the golf tournaments, basket ball games, and the running competition must have different shapes at the bottom. YAMADA'S ORIGINAL REPAIR METHOD FOR THE FORMAL DRESS SHOES (2019.0205 - 0210)
Usually, Yamada throws away those black dress leather shoes about in every two years. This is because the cost of their repairs at any shoe stores are far more than the cost of the shoes here in New York City. Nevertheless, Yamada realized the most of those shoes are only damaged on their heels. So, finally, in the summer of 2015, Yamada started repairing his damaged shoes all by himself.

Upgrading 1 (2017. summer): One of his gold wrist watch's band was torn apart from the lug in the summer of 2017. So, Yamada removed the both bands (straps) from the lugs. Then he glued them back directly to the case (in reverse orientation for his ID).

YAMADA'S ORIGINAL COURTHOUSE PANT'S SUSPENDER (2018.1215)
During the day, Yamada often works at courthouses as a legal court interpreter. When you wear a normal pant's belt, you must remove it each time when you go through the metal detector at the entrance of each courthouse. Yamada bought and wore a non-metal-used pants belt BUT the security officer demanded any and every pant's belts to be removed. Needless to say, the normal pants suspended with the metal alligator clips can not be used. (and the button style suspender is very unpractical when you need to go to the bathroom.) For these reasons, Yamada came up with the solutions as shown below. It is an unusual style of the single shoulder pants suspender made of non-metallic parts.

Yamada placed his custom-made 5 gold-plated round dorm military button lapel pins for the hem of his tuxedo pants. This formation makes the wearer's legs look longer. It also gives the unity between the pants' hems and jacket's sleeves because each of them have the exact same 5 gold-plated round dorm military button lapel pins.

SLEEVE BUTTON LAPEL PINS (2018.1207)
Yamada did not like the bulky, unstable, sloppy-looking sleeve buttons at the sleeves of his ceremonial jackets. For salving this problem permanently, Yamada created a completely new and brilliantly creative solution. Instead of using these buttons, Yamada modified them and created lapel pins to be used at their locations. Needless to say, the back of these lapel pins were sandwiched by the jacket's fabric inside. So, they never tough his dress shirt directly underneath.

EXTRA: "Shoe of the Dragon King's Daughter, the Sea Goddess Otohime (乙姫)". This pen and ink drawing shown below by Yamada is a very decorative style of femal shoe, inspired by the horseshoe crab. It was a part of the large numbers of the "Homage to the Horseshoe Crab" art project, shortly after he moved to Coney Island and saw the living Atlantec horsesheo crabs there. It's hand-enhanced print was exhibited and sold at the auctioned at a fine art gallery in Manhattan, NY. Yamada designed numerous fancy shoes over years. Nevertheless, for teh purpose of this poage, they were not posted here. (NOTE: The descriptions in this shoe drawing was written in the uniquely coded Yamada language.) LINK

STEAMPUNK GOGGLES (2016 - 2018.1121)
Since 2016, Yamada slowly worked on the steampunk style goggles to be mounted on his ceremonial festive jacket. The photos below show the latest appearances of his goggles. It is pinned down to his festive and ceremonial jacket with his custom made lapel pins.
NOTE: Yamada wore a eye-protecting safety glasses over his normal eyeglasses at the floor of the Electromotive Department of the Saturn automobile manufacturing plant as one of the technical Japanese-english interpreter for several years. After that, he started wearing goggles when he go to the beach walking (especially in cold months) when he lived in Coney island of Brooklyn, New York. TOP HAT UPGRADING (2018.1023, 1024, 1222, 1231- PRESENT)
Background: Yamada had upgraded his top hat immediately after purchasing it for the necessity. (1) Yamada invented his original "top hat leash" and "top hat leash anchor" so that his precious new top hat will not blow to the sea when he walk at the Coney Island Beach in Brooklyn, New York. The winds in the cold months here are especially strong. (2) Yamada invented "top hat ear warmer", which is a built-in ear warmer, which is absolutely necessary for the cold months. (Absolutely no top hat shops sold any types of built-in ear warmers for their top hats.)
New Top Hat Upgrading: Yamada's formal and ceremonial jackets became quite elebotrate and festive with a lot of gold accessories and chains. So, the sold black top hat as is does not look nicely matched it. So, on the occasion of the popular annual Village Halloween Parade (2018.1031) and Coney Island Polar Bear Club's New Year's Day Plunge (2019,0101), Yamada upgraded his top hat step by step.

Version 4.0, Front (2018.1231): The onyx and gold bolo tie was fastened to the top hat. Also the heavy wide gold chain was effectively re-positioned with the bolo tie in the front.
Version 3.0 (2018.1222): The gold metal corner fixture was added. This decoration visually intermediate the strong gold chain's side way movement into the uprising motion for the continuously rising and spreading visual movements of the black feathers.
Version 2.0 (2018.1024): The feminine-looking 4 fine gold chains were replaced with the masculine-looking wide and heavy gold chain. Also 6 ear piercings (3 sizes) were installed on the black ribbon to elegantly enhancing the view of the area.
Version 1.0 (2018.1023): For unifying the colors and design of his ceremonial jacket and his store-bought plain top hat (Dead Man's Top Hat), Yamada added the 4 strans of gold chains, pearl & gold metal earring, and jet black feathers. A custom-made gold military button lap pin was used for the right end's of the chains.

YAMADA'S ORIGINAL TUXEDO BIBS (LINEN NAPKINS) (2018.0907 - PRESENT)
Yamada purchased 20 sets of the upscale hotel restaurant quality fine red linen dining napkins to be used when he dine out. For this, Yamada invented and creatively upgraded the fixtures of his original "Tuxedo Bib", which has been used for the disposable paper dining napkins at the All-You-Can-Eat Chinese buffet restaurants by Yamada.
(1) Yamada thought the alligator clips ar not so elegant at the formal dining table, especially when he use the fine linen dining table napkin. So, he replaced them with other mechanisms (gold necktie clips. large gold necklaces's rings). They did not look great, either for the occasion.
(2) Yamada custom-made the gold military dorm-shaped button lapel pins and placed them at the top of the linen napkin.
(3) Yamada modified the holes of three gold military dorm-shaped buttons for the finely woven black vinyl eyeglass cords. This new and creative mechanism by Yamada enabled the adjustment of the length of this cord around the neck quickly and very easily.
NOTE: Yamada also experimented with other fabrics such as red silk pocket squares, red polyester pocket squares, green polyester table runner, black polyester table runner, etc. as shown below.

WRIST WATCH'S BALANCING ACCESSORIES (2018.0602)
Yamada replaced the simple classic white dialed and black belt wrist watch to what he calls "Liberace Wrist Watch" when he dines out with his visually gorgeous custom made ceremonial jacket. To wear this new visually extravaganza wrist watch, he decided to wear more accessories to enhance its appearance. (1) A big wrist band made of the pearls and metal with artificial diamonds were worn on his left hand. (2) The same big wrist band made of the pearls and metal with artificial diamonds were also worn on his right hand for the better visual balance (instead of just leave the right hand\s wrist completely empty.

VEST MODIFICATIONS #2 (2018.0428)
A wrong size double-breasted vest arrived, and it was too small for Yamada to wear it, sadly. The seller responsibly refunded him by admitting his mistake and let Yamada keep it. Unfortunately, the alteration cost at a local store would be more than the cost of teh vest itself. So, Yamada thought about donating it to a local charity center as is first. Nevertheless, he decided to modify it so that it could be saved (if it could NOT, then, he can still donate it just as he originally planed.) It took him several hours of tries and errors. Nevertheless, at the end, Yamada successfully transformed this double breasted vest into a single breasted vest for him to be able to wear (although it does NOT look as fancy and unusual as the original double-breasted style, unfortunately).

NECKLACE POSITIONERS (2018.0418 - 1028, design & productions)
This simple setting, which Yamada came up with, stabilizes the necklace's chains positions at their most elegant-looking state on the vest. (This means this "necklace positioners" effectively avoids the necklace's chains lining up the edges of the vest as shown below.)

Version 3 (2018.1028) & 3.2 (2018.1028): Here, the money clip was used for supporting the button on the vest. Later, a piece of cellophane tape was applied the joint so that the money clip and the button will not move around. (More gold chains were added to his main necklaces (Yamada's original lobster claw necklace and pig bone necklace) but these Necklace Positioners seem still very effective as of January 1, 2019).
Version 2 (2018.1028): The structural enhancement for the necklace positioning button on the vest were done, when Yamada started wearing heavier necklaces with heavy gold chains. This is a prototype. Yamada planned sewing the backing (instead of using the clips) for the final.
Version 1 (2018.0418): A large buttons were sewn on the both side of the vest. This only worked well when the necklace is light weight.

Yamada replaced the gold plated chains for his pair of eyeglass chains. They are longer. The pair of the chandeliers were continued but the long chains behind were removed.
Version 3.0 (2018.0613)
Yamada stopped using a single eyeglass chain. Instead, he started using the right eyeglass chain and the left eyeglass chain separate. In this way, the each side of the chains seen are exactly the same always automatically. Also, during the meal, these eyeglass chains were detouched from his eyeglasses and just suspended from his epaulets, so that the chandeliers and chains never touch his foods at his dining table during the meal.
It was also this version, which Yamada started attaching his modified pair of shinny earrings to the end of the chains suspended from his eyeglass frame. He called these very shinny and visually loud jewelries "Chandeliers". (Photo: At the Matsunichi Japanese restaurant in Manhattan, New York on July 16, 2018.) Yamada considers his chandeliers very "masculine". (Yamada thinks the common earrings look all feminine despite their sizes and styles, because they are attached to the human's very soft, sensitive, and thin body parts.) As you can see, the chandeliers added the very important visual accent to the visually empty/vacuum area between his ear and shoulder on the both side of his face.

Version 2.0 Polymorph (2018.0418)
Yamada realized a big functional big problem when he dined at the K 1 Buffet Chinese restaurant in Brooklyn, NY on April 8. He realized that those chandeliers' bottom ends tends to get in the foods, especially when he enjoying the large finger foods such as the Lobster Cantonese and boiled snow crab legs. So, for preventing this mess, he first rolled up these chandeliers around the side of his eyeglass frames. It worked effectively, but he decided to make it better. Yamada added larger jump rings to the chandeliers, so that these rings can be easily positioned to the side of his eyeglass frames very quickly with the same effective result. For the purpose of displaying this mechanism, it was placed in a dramatic manner as shown below. This is also Yamada signature "polymorph" style; these chandeliers can be displayed in three different shapes by using newly added jump rings.
NOTE: Yamada also added a button to the back of his jacket's collar and a large jump ring to the center of his eyeglass chains, so that the both sides' chain lengths becomes always balanced automatically.

YAMADA'S REVOLUTIONAL FORMAL CEREMONIAL "POLYMORPH" JACKET #3 (2018.0316 - 0401)
"I prefer wearing one jacket, which magically transforms into five different jackets on my command, rather than having the five separate jackets, that taking up a big space in my closet. I love multi-functional polyform tools, cloths and accessories. They physically represent the universal principle of One for All & All for One"
- quote by Takeshi Yamada
Yamada created a highly festive and gorgeous formal ceremonial jacket #3, made of double-breasted formal black jackets. THis single jacket transform into five completely different jackets. This jacket is a very good example of Yamada's signature "Polymorph cloths" since 1960s. (The word "polymorph" means "a thing with multiple shapes/forms"). This wearable artwork physically represents the universal spirituality, "One for All & All for One." The series of five morphs' photographs below were taken on March 31, 2018. This jacket in the formation five with the double shoulder sashes were worn by Yamada at the Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival by the St. Patrick's Cathedral in Manhattan, New York on April 1, 2018.

YAMADA'S ORIGINAL FORMAL CEREMONIAL JACKET #2 (2018.0201)
Yamada created a highly festive and gorgeous formal ceremonial jacket #2, made of two jackets. it was first worn at the Shinjuku Japanese restaurant in Brooklyn, NY on February 1, 2018.
NOTE: This gold jacket was worn on the black formal; jacket WITH dozens of Mardi Gras beads before by Yamada. Due to those beads covering the front, no special considerations were given to his lapels or his original one-of-a-kind large size necklaces then. (See the old entry below.)

YAMADA'S ORIGINAL PIG BONE JEWELRY (#01: 2017.11.28. #02: in progress)
The ham is a divine gift food from the God for all humanity. (- quote by Yamada. 2017.11.28)
The ham or the pig meat is clean & safe to eat, economically affordable, commonly available, easy to cook, beautiful to present on the dining table, easy to combine with other foods, delicious to eat, and easy to preserve. For artists, its bones even make fine art supplies. The ham is a divine gift food from the God for all humanity. (- quote by Yamada. 2017.12.16, facebook)
Those, who even dare speak ill of the God's glorious gift to all the humanity called pork, shall go to the Hell for the eternity. (- quote by Yamada. 2017, facebook)
The true religions of sanctity of life never preach people that they will go to the Hell if they eat the pork. This is because the pork, just as the shellfish and cow, is the God's glorious gift food for all humanity. (- quote by Yamada. 2018.0418. facebook)
Yamada created a multi-purpose Rogue Taxidermy Pig Bone Jewelry Artwork, by using the leftover bones of the big shank portion ham, which he ate. (The same can be said to his wampum jewelry necklaces and lobster claw necklaces.) Over a month was spent for just cleaning the pig bones completely with detergent and chemicals. These were originally intended to be used as a necklace and a dining table linen napkin ring. He is working on several of them now. (pig bone necklace, pork bone necklace, pig bone jewelry, pork bone jewelry)

NECKLACE POSITIONER (2017 - 2018)
Yamada produced several unusual ways for positioning his necklace(s) at the perfect position of his formal ceremonial wardrobes.
PIG BONE NECKLACE POSITIONER (2018.0206. Version 3)
Yamada assembled the mechanism shown below. The pig bone necklace positioner can be easily attached (with the clip behind) and adjusted up or down on the white dress shirt of his formal ceremonial wardrobe. It was used at the East Ocean Buffet Chinese restaurant on Febrtuary 6, 2018.

NECKLACE PIN ON THE VEST (2017.11.19. Version 2)
Yamada created a new solution about positioning his large Lobster Claw Necklace above the vest button's location. Specifically, (1) Stabilizing the necklace position always in the center (2) Stopping the necklace from swinging to the front and dipping into the foods on the dish during the meal. Yamada used a temporal different pins about five times before. Nevertheless, it is far better to set up a standard system like this new one. (Photograph: Rakuzen Japanese restaurant. 2017.11.19) For making this system work each and every time, a large gold jump ring was added to the Lobster Claw 's immediate chain at the top.
NOTE: This worked very well when he wore only one necklace. Nevertheless, it failed when he start wearing two necklaces. (lobster claw necklace and pork bone necklace)

MODIFICATIONS & REPAIRS OF THE BUSINESS SHOES (2017.11.17-18)
Yamada modified and repaired his formal business leather black shoes by using the rubber glue, black cotton threads, acrylic paint, and black shoe wax. (Yamada started repairing his black business shoes since 1983, when he moved to the United States from Japan.)

LINER REPLACEMENT & UPGRADING FOR HIS FORMAL LONG BLACK WINTER COAT (2017.11.11)
Yamada has 4 formal winter coats today. Nevertheless, this formal long black winter coat has been his favorite always. He purchased it in 1990 ($120 plus tax and cost of the sleeves' alterations) in Chicago, Illinois. It has been repaired numerous times by Yamada every winter. Nevertheless, at the end of 2017, it finally reached the point that its liner must be completely replaced with a new one. (The similar one by the Polo Ralph Lauren sold at the two local department stores was $120 plus tax & alteration cost as of November 2017.) So, Yamada consulted this matter with two local tailors. They said the alteration cost to be $80. So, Yamada decided to replace the liner all by himself by using the black graduation gown. (Yamada wore it at my commencement day at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland with his BFA degree, as well as another commencement day at the University of Michigan School of Art in Ann Arbor, Michigan with the MFA degree.) Yamada started sawing it from the top center point (center collar point) in the back, and sawed it down to the both ends. (See the photo below.) He saw the reversed "U" shape (this means the bottoms of the gown and the coat were NOT sawn together). Yamada did this, so that the idiotically opened big "vent" of the coat in the back can now trap the warm air inside the coat. This "suspension" design of the liner is Yamada's invention to this old problem. Also, Yamada sawed the liner' sleeve at just a single point (3 inch from the coat's sleeve's end), so that the liner can move around a bit. In his opinion, this suspension style liner's sleeves' treatments will very effectively reduce the stress of all the fabrics in the area, when I putting on and taking off my coat.
NOTE: The heavily damaged two big pockets on the both sides of this coat were not replaced during this weekend. They are to be done in the near future by Yamada.)

FORMAL CEREMONIAL LAPELS & ACCESSORIES (2017.09.22-23)
This is a proposals for instantly attaching the formal ceremonial lapels on the top of the lapels of the common formal solid black jacket (notch lapel. peak lapel). This is a variation of Yamada's shape-shifting signature style fashion design. The dress shirt's collars and chest's frills, neckwears (non-straight wide necktie, cravat and jabot, etc.) as well as the epaulette must be enhanced for match these gorgeous lapels.

SHOE'S POSITION STABILIZING BAND (2017.09.22)
Today, many men's formal leather shoes are poorly designed. I wish they are as good as the common and popular jogging sneakers. These are basic design proposals for stabilizing the position of the men's formal business shoes. The spats is good for the very cold months but not really practical for hot months at all.

HOODIE MODIFICATIONS (2017.0901, 2019.0217, 20190218)
Yamada bought this hoodie (sweat shirt) in 2016 BUT he did not like it ta all. This is because (1) he had to remove his eyeglass to wear it & take it off. (2) He had to force his head to go though the narrow neck of this clothing to wear it and take it off. So, it was not worn by him for a long time. Nevertheless, Yamada finally decided to modify it so that he can wear it or at least he can experiment his new clothing ideas with this art supply. The major modifications were done on 2017.0901 and 20190217.

The major modifications were done on 2017.0901 and 20190217.
MODIFICATION #7 (2019.0917): The end of the hood's string was tied to the left chest with a jump ring. The two buttons were replaced by the 5 gold military dome buttons. The original two black buttons were left for the possible future usages.
COMPUTER SIMULATIONS: These photographically composed images shown below illustrate this hoodie's possible transformation to the next level by the artist.
MODIFICATION #6 (2019.0917): The picture on the left chest was completely covered by the black marker. The front hems were sewn from the back. (NOTE: This is a extra large hodie and the newly sewn lower button's position matches Yamada's navel (trouser's belt buckle's position). So, no additional buttons for the lower area were sewn for now.
MODIFICATION #5 (2019.0917): The hood string was pulled to the left hand side and woven. Most of the alphabet letters were covered with the black marker.
MODIFICATION #4 (2019.0917): The tag was removed. The tying ribbon was replaced by the new button and the matching button hole. The front pocket was cut and opened.
MODIFICATION #3 (2019.0917): A new button and the matching button hole were added.
MODIFICATION #2 (2017.0901): The front of this winter clothing was tied up by the ribbon.
MODIFICATION #1 (2017.0901): The front was cut and opened. This modification finally enabled Yamada to wear this clothing easily.

POCKET SQUARE ENHANCEMENT WITH GOLD WHEAT LEAVES & CHAINS (2017.08.05 & 09.11)
After inventing the Pocket Square Stabilizer (2017.07.08) and adding the gold metal tips for his white silk pocket square (2017.07.08), Yamada enhanced the whole chest pocket area of his formal black jacket. Specifically, He added the gold wheat leaves broaches and gold chains.

ARMBANDS (2017.0508 - 0408 - 0412 - 0422 - PRESENT)
For Yamada, these armbands are a type of "Kesa". Kesa is a ceremonial large robe style or small band style cloth-made ornament, commonly worn during the Buddhist rituals by the priests and faithful followers in Japan. One of the largest kesa in Japan was commonly worn by the Shingon Sect Buddhism priests (Yamada's second family religion) in Japan. Yamada has been wearing his armbands for his ritualistic fine art performances on the streets and restaurants in New York City. Yamada loves the idea of "Culture of One".
NOTE: In the United States, armbands were only briefly used for political purposes in the past. The culture and art of the armbands is lost today in this nation except the king of pop Michael Jackson and costumed paraders at the West Indian American Day Parade in Brooklyn. New York. (This is NOT the case in Japan. Even today, students at schools and politicians during the campaigns proudly wear armbands commonly in Japan.)
ARMBAND #1
When Yamada started adding shinny accessories (including those at & around chest pocket) to his jacket's chest area, he realized the left side was visually too heavy and out of balance. So, he decided to wear this armband for his right arm for the better visual balance. Also, for coordinating colors, he wore the silver vest. Yamada unveiled it at the Fuki Japanese restaurant in Brooklyn, New York on May 8, 2017.
NOTE: This armband is a gift for Yamada from a festively costumed lady at the West Indian American Day Parade in Brooklyn. New York. in the previous year.

ARMBAND #2
This second formal armband is made of the thick woven metallic reddish brown (brass) fabric with the paisley pattern (teardrop-shaped motif with a curved end) of Persian origin. Although it was from the Asia, it is not originated from China or Japan. It was unveiled at the K1 Buffet Chinese restaurant in Brooklyn, New York on April 8, 2018. Needless to say, the red vest was chosen for loosely matching the color to this armband.

ARMBAND #4
This forth formal armband is made of a heavily thick woven fabric with the fine geometrical red, green and white colors. This is not a traditional organic design. It does a job but lacks festive mood as expressed by the armband #3, Yamada thinks. It was worn with the red vest. This armband was unveiled at the East Ocean Buffet Chinese restaurant in Brooklyn, New York on April 22, 2018.

This was unveiled at the Rakuzen Japanese restaurant in Brooklyn, New York on May 12, 2018. If these colors were reversed (stronger colors and contrast in the center area of the body), it looked much better, Yamada thinks.

ARMBAND DESIGN DRAWING
The design patterns of the armband must enhance the view of his arm in action for the people's eyes. Therefore, it should not be too simple or too directional. This drawing by Yamada shows examples of directional design pattern of the armbands to be avoided. Also the size and the density of the pattern of the armband must naturally match the view of the jacket's front. (drawing: 2018.0410 - 11)

TUXEDO JACKET CHAIN (2017.0404 - 08.29)
The two piece tuxedo's jacket's front must be buttoned always. Nevertheless, when you wear the vest (or a waste coat), you can open the jacket's front, optionally. For showing off his fancy brocaded vest, Yamada usually do not button the jacket's front. NEVERTHELESS this may be dangerous (with a wallet and smartphone in the jacket's inside pockets) when you attend the street parade with many thieves and muggers. So, Yamada, after a few months of research and experiments, created a device for connecting the jacket's front. The basic idea of this invention was inspired by the "Haori-himo", which is a pair of bands for tying the jacket's front of the traditional kimono jacket (Haori) in Japan. Yamada used the length-gold chain with a hook at the end to get the job done. It was used all day for the first time at the West Indian American Day Parade (Labor Day Parade) on September 4, 2017. Since then, this device became the standard gear for his tuxedo and formal black jackets.

FORMAL SHIRT COLLARS (2017.08.25)
A series of design proposals for the formal jacket was created by Yamada. The Carter Recession created the slim necktie. The Obama Recession created the slim jacket's collar (less fabric). Yamada predict the next Democrat Party Recession to produce the smaller business shirt's collar. Yamada designed the anti-recession shirt collar fashion, made with the multi-layered collars and bigger collars with styles.

I started accumulating many lapel pins and broaches for the chest of my black formal suit jacket in the recent years. At the end, I was compelled to add visually symmetrical, big, and strong ornaments to both sides of this jacket for unifying the each elements of this suit. The two layers of the brass metals and chains were mounted on the fake black leather. Also, the gold metal book ends were added at its three corners.

ANTI-THIEF SCARF (TEMPORARY NAME, 2017.0730)
Today, men's formal wear such as the modern necktie served no physical of medical purposes or functions at all; they became mare decorations. The same can be said to the Japanese Buddhist "kesa" and Christian father's "tippet" and Judaism "tallis". On the centrally to them, Yamada, after the careful considerations of his new residence in the bad area (the area is literally infested by the very high crimes) invented the physically functional (and also elegantly stylish and fashionable) new type of long scarf. This scarf is designed in such a way so that it covers up the valuable gold broaches, gold lapel pins, and gold tipped silk pocket square from the eyes of the street thieves in this truly crime-infested miserable New York City. Yamada has been purchasing a variety of fabrics to be used for this invention for many months. Yamada finally worn it and went out to the Coney Island on July 30 (Sun), 2017.

GOLD-TIPPED DOUBLE POCKET SQUARES (2017.12.06)
Yamada added the gold metal tips to all the remaining pocket square's tips in this version. This seems the best when accompanied with many shinny gold pins, broaches, chains, etc. around the chest pocket area.

DOUBLE POCKET SQUARES (2017.10.06)
Yamada upgraded the appearance of the chest pocket in two different ways. One is by adding the second pocket square (October 6). Another is by adding more golden metallic accessories such as the broaches (August 5) and chains (September 11).

GOLD-TIPPED POCKET SQUARE (2017.07.08)
This is Yamada's first enhancement for his pocket square itself. He carefully added the decorative gold metal fixtures for its each four corners. (He thought this is far better than just replacing it with the golden pocket square.)

TUXEDO BIBS, PAPER NAPKINS (2017 - PRESENT)
Yamada designed and created a series of highly stylish and fashionable bibs to be worn at the fancy restaurants and large buffet restaurants, where he visited often in his fancy formal ceremonial dining outfits. It has evolved significantly from the original version with all-permanent parts. His latest inventions are all made of the permanent part (silver chain, alligator clips), semi-permanent part ("bones"), and disposable part (large paper napkin). Needless to say, the linen napkin can also be used (instead of the disposable paper napkin) for Yamada's Tuxedo Bib system.

TUXEDO BIB BONE, UPGRADING (2018.09, 09 & 10 drawings & productions)
For not ripping the top portion of the disposable large paper napkin, Yamada added a "supportive backing" at the top of this bib. Originally, Yamada simply used a common white letter envelope. The photograph of Yamada wearing this Tuxedo Bib above is take at the K 1 Buffet Chinese restaurant in Brooklyn, NY on July 23, 2017. The letter envelope did the job for a while but it started softer, especially the folded lines.
With this in mind, on September 9, 2018, Yamada newly designed and created a series of new Tuxedo Bib Supporter/Backing/Bones, and replaced his letter envelope.

TUXEDO BIB VERSION 3.0, 4.0 & 5.0 (2017.0708)
During the dinner at the Chinese buffet restaurant, Yamada commute between his dining table and the food station about ten times. This means he must put on/off his tuxedo bib for about ten times. So, for doing those faster and easier at the end of the chain, Yamada designed three kinds of mechanism to be added to the chain.

TUXEDO BIB VERSION 2.0 (2017.0702)
The design of this Tuxedo Bib was inspired by the common dental bib, used at the local dental clinic near his residence in Brooklyn, NY, when he visited for the semi-annual dental examination in June 2017. Two small alligator clips were attached at each end of the fancy silver chain necklace here. The total length is 50.5cm. It is recommended to be attached to the white (or elegantly color-patterned) cotton handkerchief (which he carry in his pocket always). The total length is 50.5cm. Each alligator clip is 2.7cm. Double stranded.
NOTE: The bottom two pictures shown below illustrate how the large disposable paper napkin was used and stained at the East Ocean Buffet restaurant on July 4, 2017. The most spotted area was near the mouth. With this newly acquired information, the chain was shortened. Also, for supporting the integrity of the paper napkin, the supportive backing was proposed.

TUXEDO BIB VERSION 1.0 (2017.0608) & VERSION 1.1 (2017.0702 WITH THE CHAIN)
VERSION 1.0: In the past, in multiple big cities in the USA, at the formal dining occasions, Yamada saw some people tucked in their table napkins in their neck for using it as the bib. The design of Yamada's first Tuxedo Bib was based on this style. The shape of this bib is the shape of the backside of the vest, which had an excellent coverage area. Unfortunately, it produced two problems. (1) It became too bulky to be tucked in the neck. (2) It gets dirty easily when it was tucked in and tucked out, when used at the Chinese buffet restaurants with many varieties of greasy finger foods.
VERSION 1.1: The silver chain and the alligator clips were attached. This made the bib attaching & de-touching much faster and less messy fingers. From this point on, the tucked-in style was rejected by Yamada.

TUCKED IN JABOTS (Black: 2017.0520. White: 2017.0530)
The lace jabot adds elegance to the formal wears at the festive occasions. Nevertheless, it is not good to wear it at the Chinese buffet restaurants because there are so many variety of greasy foods, that could stain the bottom ends of it. For preventing this, Yamada came up with the idea of tucking in the jabot under the vest as shown below. Yamada combined it with the formal black bow tie. This lace black jabot (Yamada's original design and production) was worn at the K1 Buffet Chinese restaurant in Brooklyn, NY on May 20, 2017. The tucked in white jabot (with white bow tie) was done at the 99 Favor Tastes buffet restaurant in Manhattan, NY on may 30, 2017.

For getting the jobs done quickly and professional-looking manner, Yamada started using a pair of common lapel pins (reverse position). Originally, he used the ones with gold backside. Nevertheless, on January 1, 2018, Yamada started using the pair of silver lapel pins (reverse position) for his white lace jabot. It was on the occasion of the Coney Island Polar Bear Club's New Year's Day Swimming/Dunking, party at the Steeplechase Beer Garden, and his New Year's Day special sushi dinner at the Shinjuku Japanese restaurant in Brooklyn, NY.

VERSION 2 (2016.04XX)
Yamada really loved his newly created white lace jabot. So, he started wearing it more frequently. So, he started using the safety pins for fixing the bottom two ends. Later he purchased the "hardened" steel safety pins to do the better job.
VERSION 1 (2016.04XX)
Originally, Yamada sewed the bottom two corners of his white lace jabot to his black jacket's lapels with white threats. It was time consuming but he thought it was OK, because he originally thought he would wear his jabot on very special occasions only (maybe a few times a year).

LACE WHITE JABOTS & WRIST CUFFS (2017.0401-1031, productions)
After making his first lace black jabot, Yamada designed and produced a lace white jabot. He mounted a formal black bow tie (to go with tuxedo) on the top of it to make it look more modern to today's people. He also made it shorter to the better balance. Also, he chose the dark red vest (instead of the light silver vest or the light gray vest) for enhancing the view of this lace white jabot.
NOTE1 : The lace white jabot was originally worn exclusively by male and as is for the formal occasions in the 17th and 18th centuries. In the recent centuries, however, it has been worn mainly by females, sometimes with an oval-shape gold/silver metal-framed decorative jewelry at the top.
NOTE 2: See also Yamada's drawing of lace black jabots and modified photo of the lace black jabot, produced in December 2015 below.

Lace White Jabot, Version 4A (2017.0509)
Yamada used lace white jabot (2 layers), white bow tie, small bolo for this neckwear. He also wore the matching lace white wrist cuffs and the white pocket square for the total coordination. This outfit was worn when he dined at the Shinjuku Japanese buffet restaurant in Brooklyn, NY on May 9, 2017.

Lace White Jabot, Version 3A and 3B (2017.0412 & 0502)
Yamada created the second and simpler style of lace white jabot, when he received the ordered wide 1yard-long lace white fabric from China on April 12, 2017. It was used as is with two bolo ties to be mounted on his formal wear. He sported the bolo tie for this time, so that its strings (with the heavy metals at each end) can holds down the thin and light one layer fabric in position. Yamada consider the jabot excellent to be worn at the Japanese sushi restaurant, where most of the meals are eaten with the very long eating utensil called the "chopsticks". The two layer lace white jabot was worn there. (photograph: Yamada at the Sushi X Japanese restaurant in Queens, NY on May 2, 2017.)

Lace White Jabot, Version 2 (2017.0415)
Yamada created this giant size lace white jabot by combining the two previous lace white jabots, one bolo tie, and one black bow tie. When the jabot becomes this much big, a pair of matching large lace white wrist cuffs are necessary to balance it. For the better photographic images, the light gray lace may be better. Yamada thinks the jabot seems work OK for enjoying sushi with the chopsticks at Japanese buffet restaurants but not work well for enjoying the greasy finger foods (such as the Lobster Cantonese) at Chinese seafood buffet restaurants here in Brooklyn, NY.

Lace White Jabot, Version 1 (2017.0408)
Yamada created easy-to-attach/detach lace white jabot on April 8, 2017. To make it more masculine and formal, he mounted the black bow tie on the top, which was not been done traditionally or historically. This jabot was worn by him, when he attended the opening reception of his fine art group exhibition "Gotham Arts NYC" at the Brooklyn Commons in Brooklyn, New York on April 8, 2017. Yamada displayed his three paintings on canvas as shown below. (The show was produced by J. Lotus Gallery and BSAG)

LOBSTER CLAW NECKLACE (2017 April & May, designs, productions)
Creating artworks and fashion accessories by using the discarded body parts of the food animals have been done by people all over the world from the dawn of humanity. Here in the United States, the Native Americans created the most vital political protocol tool called the wampum treaty belts to be used between the tribes by using the purple color marcenaria clam shells in the New England area and the immediate surrounding area (including here in New York state). See more info and Yamada's wampum artworks under the tab "http://takeshiyamada.weebly.com/5-wampum-art--jewelry.html. The Native American tribes also created many accessories including the formal Full Breastsplate to be worn at the Pow Wow by using the buffalo bones. They creating these beautiful and important political protocol tools, artworks, and accessories by using the discarded body parts of their food animals, with deep respect and prayers. With their artworks and rituals, they believed these would surely bring peace to those creatures' souls and help them to reincarnate to be eaten by them again. The Ainu People in Japan also produce the festive singing, dancing and the bear meat banquet, which cooked meal is also served the removed head of the freshly killed bear. They do these exactly the same reasons, that the Native Americans do to their buffalos. Yamada was deeply inspired by listening to the head of the Ainu People village when he visited there in Hokkaido when he was a boy scout troop on the occasion of the World Scout Jamboree. In the same spirit, by using the discarded body parts of animals of his meals at the restaurants he frequently visits, Yamada also created his own version of spirit artworks and spirt accessories. Needless to say, those spirit accessories have been worn by Yamada at those restaurants.

Version 2 (2017.0423)
Yamada created his second lobster claw necklace by using the lobster claw (from the lobster Cantonese dish at the K One Buffet Chinese restaurant in Brooklyn, NY). For this time, he carefully painted the claw in the style of faux marble, and attached it to the four brand new gold-plated alloy metal chains. This photograph of the version #2 lobster claw necklace was taken on the dark red brocade vest, which is to be worn with this accessory. Size: 88 x 29 mm (3.5 x 1-1/8 inch)

The elegant curves of the chains echoes the curved legs of the lobster (dorsal view). For stabilizing this necklace during the dining, a gold pin was very creatively fixed on his vest. (The normal and common long neckless should NOT be worn when you dining at the Chinese restaurant because it hangs down from your neck and swing to the greasy dish and get dirty. This is a brilliant and ingenious solution to the problem of this (or any other) long necklace.
NOTE: On May 20, 2017, it was painted in cadmium red medium and gold, except the white teeth.

LOBSTER CLAW PENDANT (2017.0323, production)
Version 1 (2017.0323)
There are several AYCE Chinese buffet restaurants, that serve the Lobster Cantonese dish in Brooklyn and Queens in New York. Yamada has been bringing home those empty lobster claws and shells for creating his rogue taxidermy artworks and accessories since 2000 in New York City. For making his dining experience more special, Yamada created a pendant, by using one of his lobster claws, to be worn at those special restaurants. This particular lobster claw is from the K One Buffet Chinese restaurant in Brooklyn, New York on March 11, 2017. Size: 6.5x2.4x1.6 cm (2-1/2x7/8x5/8 inch)

MARRIAGE OF TIES (2017.0311-0321, production)
Version 1 (2017.0311)
Yamada originally purchased this finely sawn copper color necktie as a prop of his steampunk costume. (He was not too much into today's necktie but he buy unusual ones now and then.) For this time, Yamada decided to entwine his gold-framed onyx bolo tie on this necktie, for better balancing the gold lapel pins on both side of his lapels. This is also a good example of Yamada's shape-shifting and multi-purpose fashion design. (Photographed with his white dress shirt, sepia brown vest, formal black suit jacket, and top hat. March 11, 2017.)
This was Yamada's first attempt for successfully unifying these two completely different styles of ties/neckwears together. He has never seen anyone doing this but he liked it. It is definitely a very masculine, bold, and powerfully elegant. This combined ties might work good with the hard collar, too. (Photograph of Yamada and Seara at the K1 Buffet Chinese restaurant in Brooklyn, New York on March 11, 2017.)
NOTE 1: Two necktie clips were used for the ends of these ties for stabilizing them at their best positions.
NOTE 2: Scott McClelland (famed Canadian stage actor) "THAT is the nicest tie I have ever seen! WOW!" (facebook, 2017.0311)
NOTE 3: David Adamovich (Guiness World Record holder. The Great Throwdini) "YES, like it. Pure Takeshi." (March 12, 2017)

LACE BLACK JABOT, MASCULINE THICK (2017.0304, production)
The 18th century's elegant men's formal neckwear called jabot inspired Yamada deeply. Nevertheless, he could not find good one to satisfy his taste at any NYC stores nor shopping websites. So, Yamada decided to make one by himself (with a lot of sawing). No drawings were produced fro this because he saw it so clearly in his mind, just as when he created his series of "Space Alien Skulls. Yamada physically produced his first UNIQUELY ORIGINAL THICK AND MASCULINE BLACK LACE JABOT in the early morning of March 4, 2017. It was temporary attached to his "top hat leash" instead of the "neck band" to be worn by him immediately. (This was because he could not find a right black ribbon for this purpose.) It was a jabot with a very unique and original shape; it had one inch thick body and a double lace layers. It physically displays the dynamic and powerful three dimensional presence and masculine feeling. This structural thick jabot was truly Yamada's new invention in the history of the jabot.
NOTE: Placing a gold pin/jewelry/pendant near the top of this jabot may be very effective to produce the visual uniformity of the color (black and gold) and texture (fabric and metal) in the area around this jabot.

POST DINNER PANTS EXTENDER, VERSION 1 & 2 (2017.0116-0117)
This invention by Yamada is an easy and simple way to increase the waist size of the pants during and after the big dinner (AYCE buffet dinner) AND discreetly shielding the underwear beneath the pants. Several drawings were created on January 16 and 17, 2017. The modifications for the Version 1 was done on January 17, 2017.
VERSION 2: An easy to attach/remove black fabric with Velcro at the top is added to the pants. This is for the position #3 and #4, for visually sealing the wearer's underwear, when only the shorter vest or no vest was worn.
VERSION 1: Modification of the pants for the 4 different waist size positions. (1. off the shelf "as is" position with a button. 2. a small extension with an additional button. 3. big extension with an additional button. 4. maximum extension without any buttons. 5. maximum extension with a button with a leash.

POCKET SQUARE STABILIZER, VERSION 1 & 2 (2017.0108-0110)
Yamada loves nicely folded bright red pocket squares in the chest pocket of his tuxedo and black jacket. Nevertheless, it is nearly impossible to keep the original shape perfectly after attending a long social events and dinner party. This invention by Yamada is a simple light and slim device, which can easily stabilize the original shape of the pocket square. Due to its ingenious "double sleeve" design, a different pocket square can be easily replaced and the whole device can be easily installed to a different jacket's chest pocket with a different depth. (original drawing #2 with seven unique designs: January 6, 7, 8.)
VERSION 2: A "double sleeve" main body. The internal sleeve made it very easy to up and down the whole pocket square fold in delicate length. (Photograph below shows the white internal sleeve visible for the purpose of strictly illustrating its anatomy. The both ends should be tucked inside when it is in use.)
VERSION 1: A single sleeve main body with a easy to extend "tongue" at the bottom.

SUMMER TOP HAT, VERSION 1 & 2 (2016.1229, design)
This series of design Yamada think the top hat is really functional (warm) in cold months, and it looks proportionally better to be worm with long outfis. Nevertheless, for the people who want to wear the top hat in hot summer months, Yamada invented two designs modifications for them. The design is inspired by the Austrarian giant mound, created by termites with truly ingenious air flow design. Compare thsese to the idiotic old invention of the 19th century with a dollar-size hole on the top and top side of it. These are not incorporated with the solar panel ,electrically powered internal small fan, becassue the one, who wears the top hat (unlike one with the safari hat, or electric-fan-attached safari hat) should not be engaging outside activities (such as gardening, hiking, wild animal huntings, etc.) for many hours. WINTER LONG COATS, MODIFICATIONS (2016.1212)
Yamada modified his two long black winter coats. For adding a pair of buttons to the new location, the previously existing four buttons were also replaced with new buttons for the consitency for each coat.
NOTE: For the old coat as shown at the bottom, in the previous years, numerous small modifications were done in addition to countless repairs,. They include shortened the length of the vent, replaced the inside big button, adding a big button and the loop strings for the chest for stabilizing the scarf (Yamada's original idea and design), etc.

VEST SASH (November 18, 2016. 2017.0530)
This is Yamada's proposal for fashioning the easily de-touchable formal shoulder sash on the vest. The gently curved shaped sash can be easily and steadily fashioned on the vest here. Note the skinnier sash width worn here compared to the ones worn on the top of the jacket. This shows the single sash version; several different skinny sash with different length can also be fashioned together on the vest. This sash placed under the jacket is far less problematic during the dining at buffet restaurants with many finger foods.

VEST SASH. Version 1 (Production: 2016.1231)
This was worn at the Coney Island Polar Bear Club's New Year plunge on January 1, 2017. Due to the dozens of Mardi Gras beads worn on the top, the shoulder sash was not so clearly visble. It was again worn at the Sushi X Japanese restaurant in Queens, New York on January 3, 2017. Yamada carries Seara (sea rabbit) under the right arm, so, the position of the shoulder sash was adjusted accordingly to lead people's eye from his left upper chest (with the big broach and red silk pocket square) to the lower right (Seara).

REVOLUTIONARY SUIT JACKET'S RIGHT LAPEL TREATMENTS/ACCESSORIES (2016.1108)
Yamada realized the men's modern Western style formal suits have been very poorly designed and evolved for many long decades. Yamada points out it is especially true to its right lapel because it has been completely neglected, without any meanings of its very existence. Yamada also saw the formal business suits so poorly tailored and worn (way too long necktie length, missing pocket squares, shoulder fitting mistakes, although the suits' fabric seemed pricy and good) by Donald Trump during the Presidential Election months. As Yamada predicted, Trump won to the Presidential Election battle, and assigned to became the most powerful man of this nation next January. Even such a distinguished person like Trump, he did not get it when it comes to the tailoring and dressing of his formal jackets. Yamada was compelled and driven to produce the new standard of formal suits, especially the treatments of jacket's lapels for the new US President Donald Trump and every suits-wearing people on this planet.
Here is the specific details of Yamada's new invention. A white pocket square is to be placed. A large lapel pin is to be placed on the left lapel. For balancing, the one or three to five identical or similar size/shaped gold metal pins are to be vertically fashioned on the right lapel. The geometrically combined size of the metals for each lapel must be equal for the best balance. For fashioning these non-symmetrical metals fashioned on each side of lapels, the each lapel is also required to be traditional formal middle width or even richer/wider width, and never to be extra narrow width (unfortunately, this unsightly very narrow style lapel is in fashion trend in men's suits right now).
In the late evening of November 10, 2016, based on his newly invented original fashion design, he fashioned himself, and went out for celebrating the fruitful Presidential Election of this great nation at the 99 Favor Taste Chinese restaurant in Manhattan, New York.
NOTE: Unlike the all the main stream news media outlets that completely failed, Yamada predicted 100% correctly the winning of the Presidential Election of November 8, 2016. Yamada predicted the victory of the Republican Party Donald Trump, and purchased the apple red vest (RED color represents the Republican Party) over Ebay in the very early in the morning (around 7:30AM, EST) of the Presidential Election Day. (He did NOT purchased anything blue.) Yamada's new red vest arrived the late afternoon of November 10, 2016.

YAMADA'S VISIONS: EVOLUTION OF THE MEN'S SUITS JACKET'S LAPEL TREATMENTS
1. Tuxedo alone (The white pocket square is missing.)
2. Tuxedo with white pocket square. This is the most common at the wedding and any formal occasions, today.
3. Black suits jacket with a pin. An American flag pin on the left lapel is standard among American politicians at the formal occasions, today. When the politicians fashion the American flag pin, they usually do not wear the white pocket square.
4. This is Yamada's standard tuxedo and black jacket fashion style. It is extremely unique compared to others.
5. This is the theoretical lapel treatment for achieving better balance between the right and left lapel, by adding the pin on the right lapel. One lapel pin is fashioned to each lapel, but with different height and size. This is Yamada's revolutionary idea and rogue to the main stream formal men's wears (suits/tuxedo)
6. Yamada's super revolutionary right lapel treatment/fashion . Three lapel pins are vertically fashioned on the right lapel here.
NOTE: For the suits, used for every day commerce and businesses today, their neckwear of choice is the modern style necktie. In that case, only one pin may be fashioned for each lapel for visually the best balance as shown below in picture #5.

The idea of ornamenting both sides of lapels of his formal black jackets has evolved dramatically when Yamada started creating his one-of-a-kind formal, ceremonial, and festive jackets. "A festive dinner demands an equally festive outfit. A glorious event demands an equally glorious outfit", Yamada states.
YAMADA'S FORMAL CEREMONIAL JACKET #1. 1X5 LAPEL PINS
For balancing the complex chest pocket ornaments, Yamada placed three different kinds of lapel pins for his right lapels. Nevertheless, they were not visually good enough. So, Yamada created epaulettes for each shoulders (for symmetrical effect) and also added the shoulder sash (long red shoulder sash first. then, the American flag sash) 2017.0911

These lapel pins were connected to the golden cape (a modified golden jacket) with gold chains for unifying these two jackets. The theme of gold chains were repeated for the big lapel pin on the left lapel and chest pocket. For expanding this theme, Yamada also created original rogue taxidermy necklaces by using a lobster claw and a pig bone. Visually speaking, the gold cape gives strong sense of symmetrical balance for this jacket. 2018.0201

This jacket has over a dozen of powerful-looking big gold buttons. So, for making these lapels really stand out, Yamada placed a giant gold lapel pins on the left lapel and many gold lapel pins on the right lapel here. So, for making these lapels really stand out, Yamada placed a giant gold lapel pins on the left lapel and many gold lapel pins on the right lapel here. Also, for avoiding covering these ten lapel pins, the shoulder sashes were placed on the opposite side of this jacket. 2018.0401

SUMMER & WINTER FORNAL SUIT JACKETS SET (2016.1103)
This idea came to Yamada when he purchased a slightly longer formal black jacket and modified its sleeve and buttons on October 2016. Today, jackets with the same length (from the shoulder) were worm by men all year long, by completely ignoring the surrounding temperature -- whether it is the hottest month or the coldest month of the year. This idea was created by the necessity of the artist, who barely use any air conditioners for all year long for saving money. This is a fully functional and visually pleasing inventional fashion proposal by Yamada, by the system of setting up a set of most fitted suits to be worn for the warm/hot weather months and cool/cold months. The proposal drawing (Drawing #2) below also shows the ideal styles of the neck ties, belts, vents, positions of each buttons, and sleeve treatments.
Each suit's function can also greatly enhanced by its internal electric devices, that are easily connected to the USB drive (or rechargeable small-size large-capacity batteries). With these summer & winter personalized (electric) jackets, you no longer need to make the work rooms too cold in hot months or too warm in cold months.
NOTE: The user friendly USB connections are for using the optional small personal fan to be easily clipped on the collar or necktie for hot months, and the optional internal nichrome wire heater for cold months.

SHOES MINOR MODIFICATIONS (2016.1001)
When the elastic triangle-shaped rubber at the each side of the shoes lost the elasticity over a year, the fitness of this shoes to Yamada's feet was lost. To countermeasure this problem, Yamada sawed each area elegantly with the needle and threads as shown below on October 1, 2016.

MEN'S SUMMER UNDERWEARS (KINREI HOU) (2015, design)
At the beginning of 2015, on the radio, Yamada heard that the Japan's population growth reached the historical low. (In 1970s, all the news media and main stream scientists in USA and Japan screamed and shouted the "Population Explosion" of humanity and that will cause the "Global Food Shortage" and "Oil Depletion" (never forget the "Oil Shock" crisis in Japan in 1970s) at latest by the beginning of the 21st Century. Yamada is the only one student in his school class room including his teacher stated those will NOT happen in 30 years from then. As of today, 2016, Yamada has been absolutely correct on these specific matters. Yamada's such an accurate future prediction on human population was based on his comprehensive statistic research of the cockroach population in the wild and the captive environment - the population of cockroaches will reach maximum at certain point sooner or later, and their population will never increase endlessly.
Traditionally, in Japan, for many centuries, the Kinrei Hou (金冷法. Testicle Cooling Method) has been considered one of the most effective and easy methods for boosting the production of the testosterone (a.k.a. male hormone of human adult males) in testicles. The following series of inventions (extremely creative upgrading designs) for male underwear is inspired by the Kinrei Hou. It is, in Yamada's opinion, that these testicle-cooling underwears will surely boosting the testosterone productionsm, which surely increase the male aggressiveness and sperm counts of them, resulting producing more babies in Japan for counteracting the on going Japan's serious problem of the Shoushika (少子化 . Population Rate Reduction). Yamada states that adult males need the winter underwear and summer underwear, for fully taking care of the temperature of their testicles. (Drawing #3, 2016.0620)

SUNLIGHT BLOCKING MASK MODIFICATIONS (20160611 - 0620)
The design modification for the store-bought mask here by Yamada is for widening the coverage area, ergonomically, for improving the effectiveness of its sunlight-blocking function during the brutal sunlight at summer months at the beach.
NOTE: This can also be very effectively worn on the freezing cold days in winter months.

BRIM FACTORS (2016.0604-07)
The size of the hat's brim must be determined by the scientific factors; the concreate measurable, scalable, transferable, and possibly repeatable data, based on the reality of this world. On this bone of science, build the muscles of craftsmanship, and finish it with the skin of art.
The drawing shown below is the hat with 2 different lengths of ideal size brims, to be worn during 9:12AM and 4:44PM of the sunny day of July 15, 2016, for their maximum efficiency and effectiveness. (Drawing #2, June 4, 5, 6, 7, 2016)

WIDE BRIM DISC FOR SUMMER'S TOP HAT (2016.0604-0605, design)
Traditionally, the same top hat was worn by the gentleman all year long whether it was a sizzling hot summer month (imagine how hot his head become!) or a freezing cold month. Also, the same top hat was worn by him whether the month, when he want to feel the warmth of the sunlight in the cold winter or when he rather want to shield the sunlight on his face in the burning summer. Historically, no top hat was made with the good air-through materials (good ventilation) for summer months were created for those gentlemen. (Today, even the train conductor's hard hat for the summer month has the air-through fabric on its top.) Also, no top hat with the temporary attachable wide brim was ever conceived - up until Yamada invented it as shown below. Yamada also illustrated the design of the foldable version as shown here. (Drawing #2, June 4 & 5, 2016, The names for each style were not given yet then.)

DOUBLE-LAPELED VEST (Invention) 2015.1231)
This invention by Yamada was also inspired by the traditional Japanese formal wear worn by people at the court in Heitan Period - "Jyuuni hitoe". In addition to its new and elegant appearance, this design has a significant physical and functional advantages compared to the common simgle-lapeled vest OR double-breasted vest. (1) By changing the position of the necktie between the narrower and wider chest positions, it gives a different appearance (shape-shifting fashion). (2) The wide neckwears such as the cravt and exterior-placed ascot, can be worn most properly with wider-chest position. (3) During the meal, the volumed cravat or exterior cravat can be repositioned to the narrower chest position for aviding theym to get dirty. (Baed on the personal experience of Yamada, a safety pin was needed to buttun-up the modified vest with wider chest with 4 butttons, to the narrower chest position equivalent to the 5 buttons, when he wore the full cravat, when he enjoy the 13 course Chinese Buffet dinner.)

FORMAL & CEREMONIAL EYEGLASS CHAINS (2015.12.06 - 2017.1023 - 2018.0523 - Present)
The metallic eyeglass chain is a very functional and visually elegant piece of necklace-like jewelry, which even a man can still wear as of today in this country. It is also a visually effective device to lead people's eyes to your eyes. Yamada has been created several versions of such formal and elegant eyeglass chains for him since 2015. Also, see the section of his "Eyeglass Chain Chandeliers", which is a new and dramatic evolution of this eyeglass chain upgrading project in 2018.

SPECIALIZED EYEGLASS CHAINS (2018.0523)
All the previous eyeglass chains had the following same problems (1) The length of the chains on each side become uneven on his shoulder. (2) The chain sometimes get under the jacket. (3) The chain get stacked to the lapel. Yamada solved them all in his new version of the eyeglass chains, specifically designed for his ceremonial jacket #3.

EXTRA LONG EYEGLASS CHAINS (2017.1023)
Yamada created a new and better-looking decorative eyeglass chain by using very long gold chain. The each bottom of this gold chain can easily touch the tip of the white dress shirt's each collar. It seems this long chain is visually very effective for connecting the upper body and the top hat. It was first worn at the K1 Buffet Chinese buffet restaurant on October 23, 2017. Later on, the multiple strands of teh chain was twisted and formed as one to give more unified appearance.

QUINTET EYEGLASS CHAINS (2017.0402)
When Yamada started wearing more lapel pins, he thought he needed to add more chains for his "trio eyeglass chains" for the better balance. So, he modified and added two more silver chains (they are pre-made eyeglass chains) to his "trio eyeglass chains".
NOTE: Yamada needs to remove his eyeglasses when he take photograph of his each and every dinner plate with his digital camera at restaurants. So, having the eyeglass chains became the vital part of his dining out outfit (instead of placing the removed eyeglass into his tuxedo's chest pocket repeatedly).

During the research During the research of designing & creating pocket size foldable telescope to be used for seeing the tiny computer display from the distance at the public library, Yamada visited many stores, looking for magnifying lenses and reading glasses with stronger diopters. At the time, he was inspired to create his uniquely, fully functional, one-of-a-kind eyeglass chains, which elegantly match his top hat and long formal black winter coat. Yamada used three different sizes of silver & alloy metal chains. It was created and worn on December 6, 2015 for the first time. Yamada purchased a skinny long shinny fabric (originally intented to be worn as a head band or scarf) with the American flag's print, for him to wear as a scarf, cravat, or ascot on August 31, 2015. Later on the same day, he saw the tiny golden winged angel pin at a store, and he immediately thought of combining this and his American flag fabric. Since then, this American flag necktie with the golden angel pin has been frequently worn by Yamada, especially in the weekends, holidays, and festive occasions. When the local stage singer Irene retired, Yamada received her gorgeous vintage golden jacket. It was first worn "as-is condition" by him at the annual Gay Pride Parade in Manhattan, NY on June 28, 2015. To stabilize the jacket's position on his shoulders when he actively walks around, Yamada later attached multiple gold chains (lobster claw clasps were attached at each end), to be firmly attache to this golden jacket. This modified version was first worn at the Coney Island Beach in Brooklyn, NY on July 4, 2015. It was also worn at the 25th Aniversary Coney Island Sand Sculpture Contest, which he volunteered his time as one of the Judges for the contest on August 15, 2015.

NOTE: Thee systematic multi-layer neckwears as shown below are truly Yamada's original and signature invention and productions. Yamada was inspired by the Japanese "jūnihitoe". The jūnihitoe is an extremely elegant and highly complex kimono that was only worn by court-ladies in Japan. Literally translated, it means "twelve-layer robe".

BUILT-IN TOP HAT EAR WARMER (2011.1231-2012.0120)
Yamada invented this original built-in ear warmer to keep his ears warm during bitterly cold months in New York. (Brooklyn, NY: December 43-32F; January 38-27F; February 42-29F; March 50-35F) This is especially true when he goes out for the beach walking on the way to the grocery shopping. This one-of-a-kind custom made ear warmer looks far better than the shore bought contemporary-designed ear warmers in the following ways. 1) There are no gap or space for cold airs to come in compared to store bought ear warmers. 2) It is feather-light compared to the store bought ear warmers 3) It is built-in and also easily removable (although there are no needs to do so). 4) It has the consistent textures to match the top hat, which give the unity of this head gear. Three selected drawings are posted below. Also, photos, which shows how he looked before he invented this device are also posted here.

TOP HAT LEASH & ANCHOR, VERSION 2.0 (2012.0111)
Yamada lives by the Coney Island Beach in Brooklyn, NY. The wind at the Coney island beach is strong, especially during the cold months. For protecting his treasured Top Hat from being blown to the sea, Yamada invented the "Top Hat Leash". Then. he upgraded it with "Top Hat Lease Anchor". The end of the leash can be easily ties/hooked to the button of the winter coat. Originally, the Anchor was designed to placed inside of the inner packet of the jacket. (January 11, 2012)

STEAMPUNK EYEGLASS (2012.0901)
For working on his miniature roge taxidermy artworks such as the "Human-faced Ant", Yamada custom-designed and produced the easily removable AND fashionable SteamPunk style eyeglass. It was originally planned to be worn during the filming of the AMC new unscripted television series IMMORTALIZED but due to the technical problems of the excessive reflections, it was not included for the TV show, unfortunately. It was featured in the fashion eyeglass website, Spexy.

In winter months, very strong, dry, and sandy winds blows at the Coney Island Beach by his residence in Brooklyn, New York. So, Yamada was forced to wear a protective gears for protecting his eyes by combining the detouchable sunglass and click on side protector. These are very effective in keeping his eyes from getting too dry and freezing cold there, when he goes to the beach for collecting his "rogue taxidermy art supplies". Nevertheless, after undertaking several spiky shoulder pieces, this basic idea was rejected. Instead, steal wires with no spikes for stabilizing the position of each beads was implemented, and it produced a successful result.

BOLO TIE GUIDE (2005)
Yamada started wearing bolo ties around 1978 in Osaka, Japan. This style of this tie was called the "loop tie" in Japan. When he started traveling around the United States, especially cities in southern states such as Arizona, Florida, Texas, New Orleans, etc. after moving from Japan in 1983, he naturally started collecting bolo ties. The early ones were acquired when he traveled in Arizona in the mid1980s. When he started wearing them more frequently (instead of the bow ties or modern neckties), he realized one problem -- the each end of the bolo tie sometimes could not stay straight down, as they should be, even they are furnished with heavy metal ends (and this made the photographs of him not quite "perfect", as they should be.) So, Yamada came up a fool-proof mechanism as shown below, to keep them in a perfect position, and named it "Bolo Tie Guide".

WAMPUM JEWELRY (2002-Present)
Wampum is the oldest talisman, Wedding proposal gift, trade item, jewelry, and formal political protocol between tribes of the North Eastern Native Americans. Wampum was also the oldest government-issued money of the United States for paying college tuitions, buying lands, and even paying state tax. Yamada consider wampum as the greatest, otherwise one of the truly greatest rogue taxidermy art forms in the world. Today, Yamada is just a handful of artists in the world still engaged in this magnificent and truly America’s original and proud first-class timeless jewelry with 4,000 years of history. These high quality large wampums were all individually hand crafted by Dr. Takeshi Yamada. These were all made from the locally harvested and selected live Marcenaria (Northern Quahog) with extremely rare natural genetic genes.

HAIRCUT DEVICES & SYSTEMS (1988, 2012, 2017, 2019, 2020)
After his favorite barbar shop owner retired and closed his shop by the apartment of Yamada in Chicago, Illinois, he decided to do his own haircut at home. Shown below is a series of his innovations and inventions for him to do his own haircut at his home.
HAIR CUTTING GETA: HAIR LENGTH ADJUSTERS: UPGRADE & NEW (2020.01.XX)
The central heating of his apartment was raised to 80F degree (I assumed the 2nd floor was quite chilly like 70F) 24/7 by the house contractors when they installed the new heating pipes and new thermostat here in December of 2019. This is the summer temperature for his room. So, Yamada decided to cut his hairs shorter like that of the summer months.
(1) Yamada modified his 2 sets of Geta: He added the bottom top cover longer. This is for the better protection of the skin.
(2) Yamada used only Geta #1 (hair length 5 cm) for only the top of his head. The rest of his head was clipped by the electric clipper (3 cm), except the sideburn to be clipped (1cm). The hairs at the bottom of the back of his head were finely cut and shaved for forming the smooth round professional-looking shape.
NOTE: Trimming the sides of the head very short (in some cases, almost shaved off) for me became more and more common and popular in these years.
HAIR CUTTING GETA: HAIR LENGTH ADJUSTERS: UPGRADE & NEW (2019.12.01)
On October 2019, Yamada moved to a new apartment, in the middle of the renovation. The central heating has problems and the landlord changed the gas boiler at the end.
(1) Yamada modified the Geta #1 for trimming & leaving 5 cm of hairs at the top pf the head. (1 cm of styrofoam was added to the bottom.)
(2) Yamada also created the second set of Geta. After several tests, the height was set for 4 cm. This is for cutting the rest of his hairs, except the sideburn to be clipped in 1 cm.

For trimming and leaving about 4cm (1.75inch) of the hairs on his head with the scissors, Yamada upgraded the previous version, and created the Yubi Geta (Finger Slippers) on March 24, 2017. In this style, there are no intrusive thickness of the device between the two fingers. After he finished the haircut with this new invention, he wore the baseball cap and trimmed the back of his head shorter just by using his fingers. The sideburn was trimmed by using the electric hair clipper.

HAIR LENGTH ADJUSTERS FOR THE HAIRCUT (2012, production)
Using multiple attachments (side hairs must be clipped shorter than the hairs at the top of the head) with his electric hair clipper worked great, and Yamada used it for many years. Nevertheless, it has a crucial disadvantage -- he could not use it at all, when there were no electricity service to his house. Yamada faced this condition when he lost electricity with over 60 inch of sea water above the ground by the Hurricane Sandy in Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York in October of 2012. Many houses there completely lost electricity services for many months. It was this time, Yamada was forced to invent some kinds of method and system to do his monthly haircut. Shown below is an drawing entitled "HAIR LENGTH ADJUSTERS FOR HAIRCUT", which illustrated in great details about his creative solutions.

HAIR CLIPPER ATTACHMENT'S MODIFICATIONS (1988, production)
When his favorite barbar shop owner retired and closed down his shop by his apartment in Chicago, Illinois, Yamada decided to take care of his own haircut at home. He first purchased and used the barbar's electric hair clipper with attachments. Nevertheless, the cutting hair length, even with the largest attachment, was too short for what he wanted. So, he immediately produced a new device to be mounted to the attachment, based on his "vision" as shown below. With this, he achieved leaving much longer and natural length of his hairs on his head when he undertook his haircuts. Shown below is Yamada's second electric hair clipper -- the first one was black, which was bought in 1988, was broken down in a few years. The recreation drawing with detailed descriptions entitled 'HAIR CLIPPER ATTACHMENT'S MODIFICATIONS" shown here was done on October 7 2015.

CEREMONIAL FORMAL WEAR (1983)
Immediately after moving to Baltimore, Maryland to study art at the Maryland Institute College of Art , Yamada created a pair of self portrait paintings (oil on canvas) as the young Alchemist king in the ceremonial formal wears. The big eyeglasses, which was in high fashion then. The black French Beret hat, which he wears for the night outfit in this painting is, mysteriously, the one he actually wore at the graduation ceremony of the successful completion of his Bachelor of Fine Art degree there two years later. (Sometimes, mysteriously, in the paintings of Yamada, the objects and/or events of the future are rendered in great details with such precisions.) Yamada was born into the traditional and respectable house of the ruling class, "samurai" (both of his parent's house are samurai), and his official title is real "Prince" of his clan. Nevertheless, Yamada developed the comfort and love for the Western classic art, fashion, and culture ever since he was a little child.
Note: The interior and exterior of these paintings were also inspired by the real ones at the old apartment there.

LONG SUMMER PANTS WITH AIR-CIRCULATION HOLES (1969, JAPAN)
Yamada at the age nine hated wearing short pants like other kids, and he wanted to wear long pants all year long. He chose white or very pale color long pants for reflecting sunlight and heat but it was not enough during the peak hot weeks. So, after consulting with his mother, he made 28 holes in the shape of the parallelogram (7 holes in 4 rows) for producing air-circulation for his long pants (from the knee to the ankle). First, he draw the diagram very carefully with his ruler on his long white pants. Then he cut X. Then, corners were tightly folded, and glued one by one, and they were pressed down with heavy books on the table over night. It was a good design and function, but the fabric became too soft to sustain the "masculine" straight line shape of the lower pants when he moved around too much, which looked too "feminine" to him. Later, more glue were applied from the behind to make the fabric more solid later. (This re-created drawing was done in 2014.)

BASEBALL CAP WITH BELT AND EMBLEM (1968, JAPAN)
Yamada loved (and still loves) wearing head gears. Nevertheless, he did not like his cap/hat too tight on his head. This caused his baseball cap being brew away by the strong wind now and then. So, he decided to upgrade his cap when he was 8 years old. First, he measured the necessary length of the belt and cut it in two pieces. Then he shortened the belt and glued and sewed them inside of the hat. The round-cornered box-shaped belt buckle end and another belt end were folded and placed in the front space of the cap, which produced an interesting protruding external shape in the front. Depending on how the belt was folded, the tightness of the cap to his head was also controlled. Then, he created an emblem by painted a realistic picture of the empire scorpion on the oval plastic in enamel paints (which he usually use for his plastic model making) and glued it in the front. The concept of the "multi-purpose shape-shifting" functional object by Dr. Takeshi Yamada was already prominent at such an early age of his creative life.

(This re-created drawing was done in 2014.)
Interestingly, when he was playing the baseball at the elementary school's gym class, Yamada's thoughts are not there but designing and engineering things such as the baseball bat. He thought the dissection shape of the baseball should be changed to the triangle for the better hitting rate, hitting distance, and better control of the direction of the ball. Also the dissection shape of the grip should be polygon base on the bones and muscles of the human hands to maximize its power and function as a batter. The shapes, length, and materials, and the weight of the bat should be more free, and should be highly personalized and individualized as if each highly accomplished samurai warrior uses his very own one of a kind katana (samurai sword). The safety leash should also be attached to the bat and his belt (and it can be de-touched immediately pushing the button). Unfortunately his classmates and teacher did not get it at all when he talked these to them.

Yamada was a High Fashion Model
Between 1987 and 2000, Yamada was a real professional fashion model and belonged to one of the major fashion model agencies in downtown Chicago, Illinois. Shown below are the both sides of his large size thick promotional color photograph card, which was distributed widely in the industry then. (Personal info was digitally disabled below.)
NOTE: When Yamada moved to Chicago, Illinois from Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1987, he immediately changed his giant large size aviator style eyeglasses to the smaller ones as shown below. This was because he realized it was out of fashion and did not fit the cultural landscape of this big city, even he had been wearing that style of eyeglasses since he was a teenager. Also note the fashionable bolo tie he sports here, which he purchased when he visited Sedona and Phoenix in Arizona. He used to visit so many cities every year for exploring America then.
